Broadstone and Waterford could definitely transfer some AMs, and I am sure that Drogheda/Dundalk could transfer a few too. I suppose if Broadstone was to take a few of the deckers, then it would be very easy to transfer AMs to Athlone. On the other hand, given Broadstone's preference for Scanias, maybe Cork will transfer a couple of SLs and allow B'stone to release AMs that way?

Waterford needs two fewer buses as of last week to operate its city services, and they got an extra AM early on this year, so if they wanted to they could transfer AMs now to Athlone.

Galway as you say can replace its DPCs with the new Volvos.  

I just checked both tenders RH12, and it definitely says the new vehicles are going to be bought!

Does anyone know what bodywork has been specified in the various contracts?
