I agree that Broadstone need more buses in good condition, but do they need brand new ones? If Broadstone got the '07 SP's that Cork/Galway have, well Cork and Galway could get new ones to operate on the 51, X51, 20, and X20 on a daily basis and therefore they would be used for exactly what they should be.
For example in Broadstone, a few months ago, I saw SP 53 operating on route 111, where as in Galway or Cork they could be strictly allocated.
Broadstone  have X33 for example and X2 but they use private hire companies every single day. Now whatever about route X51, I know that they don't use private hire on X20.
Do you see what I mean? I just don't think they need brand new ones.

Also maybe that is why Bus Éireann are funding the new 8 tri-axle double deckers, because they need more for express to stop private hire companies having to come in as help buses everyday, but I agree strongly that they are extremely short staffed, for example in Stranorlar some of their part time drivers had to go to Sligo to help because they hadn't enough drivers recruited in Sligo.Several garages have been told that they shall get some CIE tours '08 SP's repainted in BÉ livery, and some of them are as good as new.
