I looked at the notice there Redstarcastles and it says "Upgrade 10 double decker buses in Cork and Galway, increasing capacity in these cities in the process", so I took that to mean that the 10 new deckers are to be split between the two cities because the latter half of the statement implies that Galway and Cork will have 10 extra deckers between them, and it also says "Refurbish 20 city buses in Cork, Limerick, Galway and Waterford", so that implies that the only DDs that could be upgraded are Cork's DDs and I suppose Galway's ones could be included in that too.

Interesting that they are talking about refurbishing 20 buses in Cork, Galway, Limerick and Waterford, while I can see what buses they would be talking about in Cork, Galway and Waterford (00 VWLs, 07 VWLs in the old livery and DDs), all of Limerick's VWLs are in the new livery, so that potentially means that a few MCs will stay on after the new buses are delivered, so it looks like there will still be 00 VWLs and MCs in service even after the 35 new buses come on stream.

I suppose it's a fair point that Broadstone could take some of the new deckers but I reckon they won't get too many because the DDs can't transfer to Cork, and the only route that needs deckers in Galway is the 9, which has a PVR of 4, so at most three DDs (leaving one DD as a spare which I suppose is fair enough given the age of them now) can go to Galway. That would obviously change what I've said about refurbished buses quite a bit!
