Of course this issue about the speed limiters would never have arisen if they were allocated to where they were originally meant to be allocated to - Cork. Then again 60 or 65 km/h isn't really going to make a massive difference - it is dead slow either way and if the ridiculously underpowered DDs can hit 80 km/h(presumably down a hill with a nice tail wind assisting) then the VWDs should be allowed go much faster than 60 km/h, even though it is of course illegal to drive a double deck citybus above 65 km/h in this country. Of course across the pond(or in the North) it is perfectly legal for a double deck citybus to travel at 70 mph which is about 112 km/h and elsewhere in Europe all buses are allowed do 100 km/h, even deckers.
