Surely BÉ assess the reliability and aftersales service of the various options, and surely they can make reference to their past experience when it comes to adding up the points for the tender?

Surely they can't say that the reliability of the LCs and the SPs are the same when we know from the operation of both types that the SPs are leagues ahead in this regard.

Surely the company's own experience of the different types must count for something in the tender process? It hardly makes sense to order a type if it is known to cause trouble, though they did order DPCs twice and followed it up with AMs which are very similar to the DPC.

Or are we saying that no matter how good or bad a particular option is, it counts for zilch when the tenders are going through?
