Well, we did have the route branding before, i.e. the "Flyers." I do think they used to stray, such as the 25A Lucan Road Flyer buses ending up on any of the routes in C/Road. I even remember seeing a Rail-link branded RV on the 76 one Sunday evening. I think some of the Stillorgan Road Flyers strayed as well. I do of course remember them on the 46A, but I think I did see the odd one on the 11. And when Clontarf's branded RV600s moved to Broadstone, you had a 27 Malahide Road Flyer on the likes of the 39s and even on the 51B and 68. I'm sure they did the Lucan corridor routes as well. I'm sure it could work on the likes of the 46A to brand it for the zoo in some way. After all, the VTs are never really off that route except for weekends. To be honest, I can't see any of our buses being branded again. The only branding that AV359-362 had was the small Rail-link sticker in the windscreen. Otherwise, there was little livery-wise to distinguish them from other Dublin Buses. Of course we do have the Airlink branded VGs, but I reckon that is the only branding we will see.
