I'm afraid I don't agree with ye regarding the 226A being suitable for LDs, even allowing for the fact that there was a fair bit of luggage courtesy of the passengers from Kinsale, the amount of luggage from passengers who got on at the airport was such that an LD would have been overwhelmed. I do however think the LEs would have enough capacity so if the new decker commuter coaches have as much luggage space as an LE then one of them could be allocated to Capwell. However, I totally agree with ye regarding the merger of the old 226 and 249, the frequency to Kinsale is enough but the airport needs more. If the PVR was increased by one extra bus, they could have a 20 minute frequency to the airport and leave the Kinsale bit unchanged.
