In Cork, SP73 working both route 226 to the Airport, and going to Fermoy too! I was on it, and long live the SP's they are a fantastic coach. The mileage is taped over on a lot of them so I dont know what is on the clock (wonder why they do this) but I guess the Cork ones have easily the mileage of the route 20 ones.

In Cork also, A very loud VC313 on route 249. In good nick though, a long time since I was on a VC300. How do the drivers look at the fake wood dash eight hours a day though.
VC315 to Tralee
LC14 to Waterford

Tend to spend most of the time looking at the road not the dash tbh. Yes the wood is a bit tacky although I recall travelling on one when new and being quite impressed, they were certainly a big improvement on the uninspired design of the earlier Caetano Algarve VCs.

The mileage is not taped over on any coach. On SP73 as well as all other buses fitted with digital tachographs the distance is recorded on the tachograph unit. On the earlier batches to be so fitted the old analogue tachograph speedos were used without the internal tacho workings or clock, eventually the dashes were redesigned with integral speedos and digital displays.

A number of the 06 SPs have clocked up over 950,000 km. If there is not already I would expect there to be one over 1,000,000 km before the year is out.
