That must have been one impressive L94/Solar you were on VWL119 - what year was it from?

From my experience the early L94/Solars weren't good buses at all - interior fittings that crash, rattle and bang constantly, general underpoweredness and a hard chassis that lets you feel every bump in the road, amongst many other problems. This was the case with Ulsterbus/Metro 701-818 from 2001-2003. The later 2006 batch 819-847/2401-2480 were much better, but I still think the B7RLE is far superior to any Scania product.

In particular recently I travelled on a 2008 Scania K230 and then a 2009 Volvo B7RLE an hour later and the Volvo was immeasurably better. Unfortunately the Volvo had ADL bodywork so whilst looking attractive wasn't up to the standard of Wrightbus.
