Bus Eireann use the legal minimum legroom on their coach spec , the problem with legal minimum is that it is set be the height of the average person and since the standard was set the average height of a person has increased from 5'8 to 6'1 with no change to seat dimensions , so until the legal minimum is increased (will I suspect take a major legal case after someone is disabled or killed by their seat being too small) , thus if you are a person of average height you will find Bus Eireann coaches uncomfortable no matter how much money BE has spent on them.

I didnt realise this existed. The SP class definitely had above the minimum from person experience. Aircoach tend to be more generous with legroom, the SHVs were wonderful for leg room.
