Does anyone know what the bodywork for the Volvos is? Please tell me the Volvos will be VWLs for the single decks and VWDs for the deckers.
And does anyone know what the allocations are likely to be?
I suppose Broadstone will be taking a load of the new coaches (both Expressway and Commuter) themselves, even though their oldest commuter coaches are only three years old so are at least nine years away from needing replacement and their oldest Expressway coaches are only seven years old, and at that they only have one or two 04 regs, and only two 05 regs, so the vast vast majority of the Expressway fleet is only five years old and will only be halfway through the expected lifecycle in service in around a years' time.
I suppose no doubt Broadstone will get rid of whatever remaining 04 and 05 reg coaches there are too, and any other SPs that cascade from Broadstone will be the 06 ones or even worse the Ladas!

This fits in with the rumours we have heard to date. That would be better to hear that the 32/33 routes would be getting some of the tri-axle coaches. Especially the 32, (whatever about the 33) have been told because the 8 tri-axle deckers are Bus Éireann funded that they may be getting one or two because of how busy it is. On the other hand, I agree with you PB Jim that when the coaches are delivered in February, that we will know then. Also on a noticeboard in one of the bus stations it said 20 tri-axle 63 seater coaches.
