VWL119 wrote:Top list updated, hopefully it's more accurate now! Do Waterford really have all that many coaches at the moment? They seem to have too many coaches, while Limerick have too few. Since 2012, Limerick got SE11 and 12, SP12, 40-42, 44 and 45, and SCs 32-35, 257-260 and 267, which is 17 coaches. They've also put SPs 116-120 into revenue service, so that's 22 new/newer coaches. They've lost/transferred the following coaches; SC12-16 and 18-22, SP1-5, SR10, 13, 14, and 25-28, plus VCs 307 and 308, which is 24 coaches. So Limerick are down two coaches compared to the start of 2012.Waterford on the other hand have a LOT more coaches now than they used to. Since January 2012, they have gained the following coaches: LC201-205, SE1-4, SP20, 21, 33, 34, 46-49 and 78-80, which is a total of 20 transfers into Waterford. However, they've lost/transferred the following coaches: SC32-38, VG3 and VP313, 315, 319, 336 and 337, which means they only lost 13 coaches, so they have an extra seven coaches.VP313/315/319 technically would still come under Waterford's wing though, as Rosslare is an outbase of Waterford. Likewise some of the buses listed under Waterford are outbased, SE1-4 are allocated to the 2 for eg, and a good proportion of its SPs are also outbased for use on the 2 and 384.

Not saying you're wrong or anything, but I'm just curious. By the way, I certainly hope it's still very much a service bus, those VPs were way too good to be put on schools so early, especially when you consider how there are still so many VC300s still in service. Speaking of the VC300s, according to a post by SL10, VC316 is now a Capwell based school bus. AD34 is now withdrawn, was a Waterford/Rosslare bus. DPC31 is no longer with the company. Also forgot to mention that DVH3 and DVH19 are also withdrawn, this leaves Thurles with only DVH2 and DVH15, and they'll probably be withdrawn at the end of the month once the schools season is over.Just to correct you VWL 119, DVH 15 is withdrawn, not DVH 19. Splitting hairs now as in 2 weeks they will all be gone! DVH 3 and 15 have been moved in the last couple of weeks from Thurles to Broadstone.
